Ingredients
Vanilla
🥛 100 g Mornflake Scottish Jumbo Oats
🥛 960 ml cold water
🥛 1 tsp vanilla, paste or extract
🥛 ⅛ tsp xanthum gum
Strawberry
🥛 100 g Mornflake Scottish Jumbo Oats
🥛 960 ml cold water
🥛 300 g fresh strawberries
🥛 ⅛ tsp xanthum gum
Chocolate
🥛 100 g Mornflake Scottish Jumbo Oats
🥛 960 ml cold water
🥛 40 g cacao powder
🥛 2 medjool dates, pitted
🥛 ⅛ tsp xanthum gum
Method
For each flavour of oat milk, simply add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth (be careful not to over blend, as the oats will go slimey when warm).
Strain the milk through a cheesecloth, strainer or a clean towel.
Pour into a large clean glass bottle and store in the fridge for up to a week.
Shake before each use, to stop the separation.
